VIRGINIA MOSQUITO CONTROL ASSOCIATION

ANNUAL MEETING PAGE

The Virginia Mosquito Control Association is a nonprofit/scientific educational foundation founded in 1947.  The VMCA is a recognized professional organization dealing with mosquito and related vector control issues.  The VMCA annual meeting features research and operational reports and displays of the latest supplies and equipment for vector and mosquito control use.

 The VMCA publishes a quarterly newsletter, the "Skeeter".   This publication seeks to disseminate timely news and operational information of interest to mosquito control professionals and others in the field.

 The VMCA is a major source of information, training, and expertise on mosquito and vector control for local and state workers.

 Membership is open to any individual with an interest in mosquito and vector control.  You are urged to join and participate.

 VMCA Membership Information & Application

 Regular Member                         -           $10.00 per year

Entitlement:                                       VMCA Newsletter, to hold office in the association, serve on committees, propose motions, vote, and participate in business meetings

 Associate Member                       -           $5.00 per year

    Entitlement:                                        VMCA Newsletter, participate in business meetings.

 Student Member                          -           $2.00 per year

    Entitlement:                                        VMCA Newsletter, serve on committees and participate in business meetings.  (Student must be enrolled full time in an accredited college or university.  Student must produce a valid College or University ID Card).

Organizational Member                             $15.00

   Entitlement                                             One regular membership, mention in the SKEETER and Annual Program, invitation to special lunch at Annual meeting, and ability to post jobs on Web-Site and in the SKEETER.

 Sustaining Member                     -             $300.00 per year

    Entitlement:                                          Exhibit space during the annual meeting and registration for one person.  VMCA Newsletter, participation in commercial presentation session, listing in VMCA Newsletter and meeting program, listing on VMCA letterhead.
