MOSQUITO IN VA

The Tidewater Mosquito and
Vector Control Council (TMVCC) is a regional sub-committee of
the VMCA. It was founded in 1972 and modeled after a similar group
in the San Francisco Area. Its purpose was to organize a group that
would meet periodically to discuss mutual problems, consisting
mainly of military personnel with local and state professionals in
the Hampton Roads area. Today, the council meets once a month and
welcomes vendors to promote their services and products, while also
giving local programs the opportunity to discuss problems and ideas
amongst one another. The 2012 board members include:
