MOSQUITO IN VA

 

The Tidewater Regional Arboviral Surveillance Team (TRAST) is an open forum between local biologists, supervisors, and laboratory personnel that perform some form of mosquito control or arboviral testing. TRAST also acts as a forum through which localities can share data or seek assistance from neighboring cities. Members include:

- Laboratory personnel from Norfolk Dept. of Public Health (NDPH)
- Mosquito and Vector control personnel from localities in the Hampton Roads area
- State Public Health Entomologist, David Gaines, PhD
- Local Health Department employees
- Mosquito Control personnel from localities to the west and north of Hampton Roads
